Small experiments. Useful perspectives. One practical next step.

Learn alongside Bill Malcolm: what I am trying, ideas worth exploring, and ways to put AI to work.

What did Bill do NEW this week?

Can AI video run locally?

Experiment, not a production recommendation

This week I explored local AI video generation with LTX Desktop. The pilot completed six short clips and an edited 30-second demonstration. Completing a generation is different from getting a usable result. Some clips needed editing; voice quality and lip sync still needed human review.

Key Takeaway

Start with one short shot, check it against your original instructions, then decide what is worth keeping.

Plan a small experiment

Prompt: Turn these notes into an action list. Flag missing owners or dates; do not invent them.

Prompt: Rewrite this for a busy colleague. Keep the facts, state the ask, and flag anything unclear.

Prompt: Help me test one repetitive task with AI. Define inputs, success criteria, human checks and a stopping point.

Pick one task. Try one change. Review the result.
